2011-2012 School Year Begins
While students are not required to buy school supplies many parents want to purchase some items. If parents choose to purchase, the recommended items include:
pencils and/or simple ball point pens (black ink)
pencil/pen pouch
notebook paper
pocket folders
some type of 3-ring binder (grades 3-12)
If a student disregards reasonable care and
use of school supplies provided by the school system, the parent of the student will be
notified and all school supplies for the
remainder of the school year shall be the responsibility of the parent.

Colquitt County School System is committed to providing all students with a safe and civil school environment in which all members of the school community are treated with dignity and respect. In accordance with federal, state, and local policies, procedures and practices, Colquitt County School Sytem expressly prohibits the bullying, harassment or intimidation of any person, by any means or method, which occurs on school property, on school vehicles, at designated school bus stops, or at school related functions or activities, or by use of data or software that is accessed through a computer, computer system, computer network, or other electronic technology of a local school system.
